• Hello,

due to my lack of attention when creating posts I now have a bad mix of different permalinks.

I think the best permalink structure for my posts would be /%category%/%postname%/ is there a way to apply this to all my posts? I got over 1000 posts which do have a bad permalink so it should be some automatic way to do it.

Can this be done with WordPress itself or do I need a plugin? Or isn′t it even possible?

    Thank you in advance.

    Regards,
    Marek

Today I found that it seems the permalinks do change when i reset the permalinks, however it does not use the correct %postname% for it, jut the first number which i got in front of all my post names, but not the text behind it.

So how can i force WordPress to take the right title, not only the number?

Just to make clear what i mean, an example:

    The post title is:
#100 The world is a nice place to be

In the browser tab it shows the correct title:
#100 The world is a nice place to be

However the permalink looks like this:
    https://www.domain.com/category/764/

    Instead of (roughly without slugs):
    https://www.domain.com/category/world-nice-place/

Strangely for the first posts i made it was all fine, about 2k without problems, but the last 1k i did do have this problem, some few do have the right permalink, but 99% don′t.

I use the Parabola theme, could it be that they changed something for permalinks when they did update the theme?

Please Help, i would really like to find out whats wrong!

Also i checked module_rewrite , as far as i can see as a WP beginner this seems to be enabled and working,

    Thanks
