How do I reset a poll and remove all options?

I’m using polls to have my members build a list of favorites (book titles, for example).

I want to clear out the list and start fresh, but I can’t seem to get that to happen.

I tried telling it to reset at a certain day/time, but that didn’t work.

    Thanks.

Okay, I was able to manually delete the options one at a time (it wasn’t working before, but now it is) — but that’s not the ideal option since we’ll be building LONG lists of choices. So I look forward to the response about how to remove all options (if that’s possible). Thanks.

    Hello

You can reset a poll by going to All Polls, selecting the poll and from “Bulk Actions” dropdown choose “Reset Votes”.

Thanks. That’s clearing out all the votes — but it’s also clearing out the number of answers, so it’s a little not right, I think.

For example, I have a poll where there are currently 2 choices that member have added to the list, along with the “Add Your Own” option. I cleared it out by doing Reset Votes, and the vote counts all got reset (it says “0 votes” after each choice), but at the bottom it now says “0 votes · 0 answers” — there are still 2 answers, really (if you don’t count the “Add Your Own” which isn’t an answer).

    Can that be fixed?

    Hello

We’ve tested this and it looks like answers submitted via “Add Your Own” are not removed when resetting votes.

This will be fixed in the next release.

    Thank you for your feedback.

This may be related or you can tell me to add a new topic, but if you clone a poll that has Add Your Own answer choices in it, it starts out with those choices but it says “0 votes – 0 answers” (even though there are answers listed.

    Hello

    Yes, it is related.
When resetting a poll, answers from users added as choices should be deleted.

With this fixed, cloning a poll shouldn’t be a problem anymore.
