    Is it possible to have an event with, say, 10 spaces, and 5 reserves.
    The first 10 people can get tickets, and then a further 5 can request a ticket and go on a wait-list. When one of the initial 10 cancels their space/ ticket, the first reserve is automatically allocated a ticket?

    I don’t want to run manual approvals.

  • What you are talking is commonly called a waitlist; it’s just that you have some extra rules around it how those extra spots are distributed

    I am in a similar situation. I have spent countless hours getting a site up and working, only to realise that this plugin can’t do it.
    The only way would be to run the calendar in manual approval mode, and hook onto maybe the “em_action_booking_add” hook in order to perform the logic needed to maintain the booking waitlist and/or actually book that new user automatically, based on some programatic rules.

    Long story short, you’ll have to roll up your sleeves to get this done. Not a trivial amount of work.

    Thanks for your reply. Technically this is beyond me, so I’ll look for another plug-in.
