• Hi
First of I’ve just started on WordPress 5 days ago.
    Runing 2.6.5 with Moo-Point 1.0 over Sandbox 1,6

Updated Sandbox today from 0.9.8 to 1.6 and my recent-post widget disapeered from the sidebar but only on the main page, all others are ok.

Is there something I should know about clearing old cacshes or something?

    regards Erik

That would be a theme question – check with the Sandbox theme help pages.

    Thanks
Have not found anything yet but have identified where it goes wrong.
when i select: Options -> reading -> use static page (sorry my wordpress is in danish . hope its right) The widget will vanish from the front page. If I choose Recent Posts I get the default widgets along with my selected widgets but still no recent post widget.
Is This still a theme bug?

    Hmmm. That’s weird.

The post widget is one that installs in your sidebar, right? THen you need to check: page.php and see if it has the same call to the sidebar as index.php. There must be something different with the sidebar (not just that one widget) in the page.php.

INdex.php = the regular chronically organized front page. Page.php or Archive.php (or home.php or any other page too) = the template used for a static page.

But yes, if one template displays the sidebar correctly, and one doesn’t, then the theme and plugin aren’t playing nice together. Either/both should be able to help you.

Just found out it is a known issue with Moo-Point 1.75 which it turns out is the one i’m using ??
