Resend send raw html as text

  • Our smtp setup stopped working for a bit and several emails didn’t go out. I found out that we had MailPoet WP Mail Logging installed and thought “great I will just resend the emails”. I selected all of the emails that failed and through bulk actions, I chose resend.

    This worked… poorly. It resent all of the emails as plain text rather than html and basically, a bunch of users got dozens of emails full of gibberish.

    Is there a workaround for this? I have searched google and support forums for over an hour and found several people alluding to this problem with no real solution.
