    Hello,
    For some reason, the “Resend email about a new order” option in WooCommerce does not work for me. The notification is sent to the admin via email, but the client does not receive it.


    I tried to add {customer_email} after a comma to the recipient section (for NEW ORDER) but it doesn’t work either. I also tried to give this code myself instead of the admin’s e-mail – then there is no e-mail anywhere (neither to the client nor to the admin – which is a good clue).


    Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

    Hi,

    I understand that when you send the new order email notification, it is not received.

    I went to Wp-Admin > WooCommerce > Orders, I edited an order and sent again the new order email notification, I am using WP Mail logging to monitor the emails that are sent:

    May I ask, can you check again, try again to send that email, and then monitor the behavior using WP Mail logging, this will tell you if the emails are correctly generated.

    Hi,

    I did what you asked. I downloaded plugin, created new order, resend it. As always – it immediately come to admin email but customer didnt get anything (except first email about new order).

    info [at] livef… – admin mail
    ap 9 [at] … – customer mail

    – resend order – goes only for admin (should go admin and customer)
    – send invoice – goes only to customer

    Best option for me is that resending should go to admin and customer. Will be grateful for help!

    I found 1 more thing.

    IN woocommerce settings -> emails -> new order. there is a place to but recipent. By default it was admin email, I tried 2 options:
    – adminmail.com, {customer_email}
    – {customer_email}

    Seems that code {customer_email} is not working (in email dashboard its blank). Should be any other shortcode for that?

    The “Resend New Order notification” is meant to be sent to the admin only, I wouldn’t recommend working against the normal behaviour and sending it to the customer too as it might contain some things only the admin is meant to see.

    If you’d like to re-send the order details to the customer, you can select “Email Invoice” instead:
