resend blog post

  • There were more subscribers than My server allowed at one time. I increased the limit, but is there any way to resend to the subscribers who didn’t receive the new blog post? My host said they cannot.
    (I wondered if I’d have to repost the blog with a new date – would that work? Trouble is, it would resend to everyone, including those that got it the first time)

    The answer depends on whether you are using per-post email notifications or digest emails.

    If you are using per post simply revert the post to draft and then publish it again to generate a new email, but it will send to all subscribers – not just the new ones.

    If you are using digest emails you should have the option to resend the digest email in the Settings page of Subscribe2. That will send the original email to all current subscribers (with the original ones included again).
