Resend activation doesn’t work with email

Hi, I’ve been using theme my login for a while and i noticed something strange few days ago. When email moderation is on – someone tries to sign up and if they don’t get activation email, they get an message with “resend activation” when they try to login. The problem is, when someone(pending) try to login using username, resend activatio works perfectly. But when they try to login using email, resend activation doesn’t work.
