• Hi,
I have researched & experimented with many things that worked for other people from Google search and this forum, but my Link on the same page still doesn’t work

I typed the same lines on W3 Schools and the link Worked there.
I typed: Business Hours
and further down:Business Hours

On my site, nowweshallbegin.com/testing-linkingoct-17. two links are shown instead of one. And the link, at the top almost works but it lands on one line below the intended title.

Can someone help me please

Also, I have tried changing the theme. I’ve tried reversing the placements of the <a href and the <a name; I tried <h4 id= ; I tried different placements of the # ; I’ve tried typing the link like the link in this box; I’ve emptied the cache

Thank you!

Above it just says,” Business Hours”
I don’t know how to show u the lines I typed without it only looking like a link(above)-I’ll try again.Business Hours
and further down,Business Hours

I managed to remove the lower unwanted link by typingbefore Business Hours.

But I still don’t have a link to Business Hours.

My theme is Twenty-Eleven

Please provide a link to the page with Business Hours.

The lower unwanted link is back, and all the words lower are also now links.

Hence, the before the tile Business Hours apparently is NOT a solution to that issue.

What do you want the first business hours to link to?

(@katy050)

I want the first business hours to link to the second business hours.

This was just a test for a list of titles to be linked to titles and their descriptions on Page https://www.nowweshallbegin.com/plans-goals/

I have now tested the the issue on various different browsers, computers, and internet providers. All of these do not have the issue. My computer is causing the issue.
I have made lots of attempts to negate other issues with my computer and these attempts should have also negated this browser issue.

So I am off to buy a new computer.

Hi,
My last MESSAGE is INCORRECT. sorry.

This is correct:
After I Log Out of my site, I can see that the links work on my site, on my computer.
When I am Logged In to my site, it appears that the links do not work properly.

This occurs on both my Mac computer with my ethernet, and at the Toronto Public Library on their PC with their internet.

What can i do, so that I don’t have to Log Out every time I want to see if the site is working properly?

Thank you.

The same thing applies to this actual page:

https://www.nowweshallbegin.com/plans-goals/

When I am Logged In to my site, it appears that the links do not work properly.

Are you going to the upper left “visit site” to check the links?

Thread Starter katy050

(@katy050)

Yes. In the dashboard, I click on the “visit site”.
My site then appears, mostly like it does when I have logged in.
It shows the words “Edit”,
the header is larger,
and when I try the links, they don’t work.

Thank you for anyway you can help!
