I’m sorry that the account creation requirement of the plugin has garnered your 1-star rating. Please note that none of your data is being shared until you explicitly give permission.

If only this was for something regarding the functionality of the plugin, I’ll be able to take some action to make your experience better.

I assume that you did not create your account and hence haven’t tried out our checkout. This saddens me and I wish you would experience the actual product before deciding that the 100x better checkout experience for your customers is less important than having to create an account.

I would gladly try your checkout and tell you about my experience if, you would make the login optional. Then, I can decide if I want to subscribe or not.

I could even opt for a Pro version, if it was worth it, I have no problem with that. But asking mandatory subscription for using a free plugin is not acceptable.

It is about the functionality of the plugin: make login optional.

Thanks for your reply. You are actually not subscribing to anything. Neither do we send any emails to you nor do we share any of your data. Both of these require your explicit permission and action.

I’m trying to understand your concern here. Would you be comfortable sharing your email if it’s a premium plugin? If it’s a privacy concern, how is it tied to the plugin being free or paid? Or do you only use premium plugins that offer license keys instead of asking you to create an account? A lot of premium plugins now require you to create an account. Please help me understand.

As I already said, if not for that account creation, you’ll have to create multiple accounts with our feedback management platform, community platform and anything else we might integrate in the future to make your experience better. With the SSO, you won’t have to do this.

I’m sorry that you feel this is more important than the smoother checkout experience, the improved conversion and, in turn, the increased revenue for your stores.

I wish I can disable it to allow you to try out the plugin. But I want to deliver a kind of customer service and user experience for my customers. And it needs the SSO login.
