Requires SMTP Authentication

    I keep unchecking “Use SMTP Authentication?” but when I navigate away and come back the box is checked again. I have been unable to receive email using this form. I was successfully using WP-Mail-SMTP but my theme required I use pirate forms. It stopped working once I installed pirate forms so I deactivated WP-Mail-SMTP and still am having trouble. I suspect it’s because it keeps defaulting to Use SMTP Authentication.

    Thank you for contacting us. We were not aware of this issue with unchecking “Use SMTP Authentication?” , but you are right. I just tried it and it’s not saving the value. So, I reported this to our developers for fixes.

    Regarding you not beeing able to receive emails, this issue, with the checkbox , should not matter though.
    Are you using the latest version of the plugin? And have you tried using the SMTP options given by the plugin? Becuase if your form worked with WP-Mail-SMTP, it might have something to do with the SMTP.
