Requires more thought

  • I know this is a useful plugin but unfortunately does not work with my site. I am using the latest version of WordPress and the latest of the plugin. I can’t seem to find any alternatives of this plugin so am very keen to know if the developer can fix this issue.

    I have full Administrator capabilites with delete users. I see the Masquerade option at top of website and whilst logged into WP but the option does not show within the User list.

    Ideally the plugin should be more simplified. We only need a link on User list to display “Login as User” next to each member.

    Thanks for the feedback!

    Through my own use of this plugin, I found that making it available from the admin bar was extremely helpful. That said, I kept the original functionality of the plugin which includes a masquerade link within the user list, look for the Masquerade link when hovering over the user’s email…

    Let me know how that works for you. Otherwise it would be helpful if you could provide a list of the plugins/theme on the site.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your response.

    My website isn’t bloated with many plugins, the list only contains about 15. I use Visual Composer, Contact Form 7, Email Users, UserPro (and addons), AffiliateWP, Bulletproof Security, Restrict Usernames, Testimonials Showcase, User Role Editor, WPAchievements and WPVN Username Changer.

    The Masquerade link does not appear via Admin > Users.

    Hey Darren,

    I set up a local site with the plugin set you provided and I don’t see any indication of a conflict preventing the Masquerade link from being displayed within the user actions on the User listing page:

    Is there anything on the site that would be affecting custom CSS to the dashboard?
