Can PayPal not throw an error for billing fields when the smart button is clicked to checkout? if it could take the billing address from the website “IF” provided or use PayPal’s stored address for the checkout.

the expectation is a seamless express checkout process like Google Pay or Apple Pay where one click is enough for payment and user don’t have to hassle with shipping address

    currently using Version 2.4.1.

    Currently it throws these error

Billing First name is a required field.
Billing Last name is a required field.
Billing Street address is a required field.
Billing Town / City is a required field.
Billing State is a required field.
Billing ZIP Code is a required field.
Billing Phone is a required field.
Shipping First name is a required field.
Shipping Last name is a required field.
Shipping Street address is a required field.
Shipping Town / City is a required field.
Shipping State is a required field.
Shipping ZIP Code is a required field.
No shipping method has been selected. Please double check your address, or contact us if you need any help.

    Hello @anthonyfinixqburst,

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

I think there might be some misunderstanding here. The PayPal buttons on the short code checkout page are designed to?replace the “Place order” button?and rely on the data provided in the WooCommerce form fields. These are not express buttons.

Also, the Express options for the checkout are only available with the?Block Checkout?when enabling the “Block Express Checkout” Smart Button Location in the?Standard Payments tab.

Please let me know if that clears up the situation.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
