    i think this is a very serious issue, i created a wordpress theme with drag and drop feature depending on kirki tooltip , and this was the issue i faced while trying to upload it to wordpress.

    ISSUE : the add_shortcode(); function was prohibited in themes, so i had to make it a plugin , and just then i bundled it with kirki using TGMA Activator, but since plugins are not allowed in theme, how do i add my custom built wordpress plugin, that was built specifically for the theme, remember i can include the add_shortcode(); tag in a theme.

    Themes cannot include bundled plugins here on www.remarpro.com. You may recommend a plugin, but not require it.

    Themes should stand and work alone, without any additional plugins.

    Also, yes, shortcodes should not be in themes, because if I change themes, then the shortcode stops working and my old content is now broken.
