Required Item WC Fields Factory

  • I am using the Factory to create a Text Entry variable for vinyl monograms on my site. I need the customer to be required to enter their initials before they can go to Cart.
    I select the “Yes” Radio Button in the “Is This Field Mandatory” but it does not prevent the customer form ordering without entering the information.
    Please Help.

  • any update on this? If I put in any placeholder or default options, it no longer needs to be filled out before they can check out.
