    Hi,

    in my oppinion it is not clear if customer is filling out the input fields what is a required field and what is not.

    So all required field should be marked with a “*”.

    In my case “Recipient E-mail” ist NOT a required field…but that′s not obvious for the customer.

    How can I mark required fields with a “*”?

    Regarding the “message field”: in my case I use max 200 letters…If I max this out and use 205 letters there′s at first no sign/error message that I did wrong….only if I click into another field the message frame get′s red….but there′s no message for the customer what he did wrong…this might confuse them…so if the max letters are 200 it should not be possible to use more letters or there needs to be a clear error message what is wrong.

    1. I haven’t been able to replicate the issue with generating two coupon codes when “order status” is set to send + in progress. So I would appreciate if you could open a ticket on the Forum I sent above, so we could take a direct look at it.
    2. Regarding the coupon code expiry, and the email being sent manually: I’ll also check why the PDF with the coupon code isn’t being sent after changing the delivery status from pending to sent, as this was previously working.
    3. Regarding your query about the “minimum voucher amount” feature for gift cards, I understand your concern about displaying a placeholder or error message promptly when the user enters an amount below the minimum. I’ll note this as a feature request for our team to consider.

    Hi,

    thy for the update. Summary of update is:

    Works:

    • limiting the letters in message by design
    • after ordering the gift card only 1 coupon code is getting created
    • expiry date is ok
    • PDF is sent

    Works not:

    • I used the direkt link for coupon in the mail (browser chrome) put product into cart…voucher was applied directly….but I did not checkout…changed to Firefox browser…was able to use the coupon in cart but could not checkout because of already used coupon code!?
    • If a customer did not checkout the coupon should be useable until really checkout
    • there′s only a very short error message “voucher already applied” but this message disappears after 2 seconds!? NOT good!

    Still on the “to do list”:

    I’ve checked the Works not list, but I can’t replicate them on my site. I’m trying with the latest WooCommerce and our dev plugin that I sent you.

    I would recommend running a conflict as guided in this documentation: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

    And, for the To do list, we’re working on it. I’ll keep you updated as soon as possible.

    Hi,

    I have 66 active plugins which have been tested and which run smoothly with the current versions of wordpress and woocommerce.

    Regarding your conflict guide I have to update them all…..which means extensive testing to make everything work again and on top of that (after extensive testing) deactivate them all to find out which plugin may or may have not a conflict with your plugin…which runs good on a clean installation…..yeah sure…..don′t you think I have better things to do? This would take me a week.

    Jesus…since 2 weeks I′m trying to make your plugin work in a useable way for real customers.

    You can backup your site content?before making any changes, and you could always?duplicate the site?for testing purposes if you don’t want to interrupt the live site.

    Nice video,

    but:

    1.) in both cases you act as admin and NOT as customer (customers in my case are 90% NOT logged in…they act as guest).

    2.) You did NOT finish the checkout and order the product finally.

    3.) If you act as guest customer and you finish the checkout = order the product then you′ll see the error

    The coupon code can be used multiple times in the shopping cart and checkout (in different browsers)…but as soon as you finally want to complete the order (after apply multiple times but not order) the error occurs…and only then!

    In your video you did not try to complete the order! That′s the problem…that′s why you can′t see it.

    • follow the coupon link and apply in cart in the chrome browser.
    • leave chrome browser and use firefox…apply coupon code again..go to checkout and try to finish the order…so would get to “order-received” page….that′s where it happens….you can′t finish the order after applying coupon code multiple times in cart in different browsers.

    1. I checked with incognito mode at the near end of the video. The admin in this case simply is a logged in customer, no difference. And the incognito mode is a guest/non logged in customer.

I would really appreciate if you could just demonstrate the issue with a brief video, similar to how I recorded mine? This would help me understand the problem better and provide targeted support. Alternatively, you’re welcome to perform a conflict test as I suggested earlier. It’s essential to identify any potential conflicts specific to your setup, as the issue doesn’t replicate on my site.

    ok….this is very time consuming:

    1.) the coupon code was generated today

    2.) was used first per link from mail (Browser Chrome as logged in user)….could not be applied because the minimum purchase for the voucher is 10 euros

    3.) so in my case I put 2 x cooling towel into cart = 13,80 Euro and used coupon code in cart…but DID NOT process to checkout and DID NOT finish the purchase

    4.) At minute 2:07 I change to Firefox Browser as NOT LOGGED IN guest user

    5.) Put the same cooling towel into cart = 2 pcs = 13,80 Euro and used the coupon code which is valid regarding cart.

    6.) process to checkout….put in my data and finalize per “Zahlungspflichtig bestellen” = final Agreement to pay for the order….but I′m in an endless loop. Shop system can′t process the order and I don′t get forwarded to next shop page “order-received” = order did not get finalized….no order in the shop system.

    7.) Regarding system coupon code was NOT used:

    All this strange behavior does not happen if the coupon link was NOT used.

    I hope this makes now clear what the problem is!?
