• First of all, I’m wondering if it’s possible to *not* have first and last name fields? My client doesn’t want to gather this information from people — it’s a site where people may want to and can remain anonymous. If I leave those fields blank, will it still work?

I’m wondering because right now it’s *not* working. Actually, I’ve now tried adding first and last name fields/IDs and the subscriber is still not being added.

One thing I do notice is that the MailPoet field in the Form Editor doesn’t have “MailPoet” in the label — in the screenshots yours says “MailPoet Field ID 2.” Should it?

Yes, it’ll work without those fields (first name and last name)!

And yes it should say MailPoet: Field ID X if you hover your mouse over it.

Make sure to re-save your form or even reinstall your add-on. I just tested again here and it’s working fine!
