• When I try to edit a profile in the dashboard I am unable to update unless I fill in all required fields for that profile. I assume this is just the way that the plugin functions, but I wonder if I might be able to use a PHP filter function to make certain fields required for the shortcode form without setting them as required in the data tab of settings.

I looked in the help tab and can see some code related to fields being required but not sure if I can use any of that.

If it is possible to add code to set required field on a per form basis, I would really appreciate being pointed in the right direction!

    Hello.

You can unmark fields as uneditable in Settings/Data tab. – https://screencast.com/t/JjTOZi9eCDN

    Hi Maria,

I know that I can change the fields in the data tab, I want to know if you know of a way to change it just for a form, so that I can edit profiles without being forced to fill in all the data we want users to fill out.

Let me know if I am not being clear and I will try to explain another way.

    Cheers

So you are telling that you marked some field as required, but when you are editing some profile and want to leave that field empty it doesn’t allow you?

The required option is really only for forms, so that shouldn’t be the issue when you edit profile manually.

    Regards.
