Required fields are not stopping the submission

  • I see other people with this issue but none have been solved. I have 4 contact fields, all are marked required but you can get through the quiz just fine without filling anything in. I tried adding the code to php file as one person suggested worked for them but did not work for me. Saw another post that said it will prompt you to fill them in when you hit submit but mine does not. Any suggestions?

    Thanks for using QSM! Normally, when this issue occurs, it turns out to be a conflict with either the site’s theme or another plugin.

    Can you temporarily switch your theme to a default theme (such as Twenty Sixteen) to see if the fields work correctly? Then, switch back to your theme.

    Can you temporarily de-activate all plugins except QSM to see if the fields work correctly then? If they still do not work, re-activate your plugins. If the fields do work when the other plugins are deactivated, re-activate the plugins one at a time and test the fields after each re-activation to see if you can narrow down which plugin it may be.

    Both of these steps will help rule out if it is a conflict issue or not.
