    Anyone who can help here Urgent????
    Even upgraded to v1.7 manually… but then the asterisk has also vanished now…

    when checked with inspect element the classes have been added but not working

    How do we make the field required???

    Hi @rakesh1974,

    The ‘required’ attribute of Register Helper Add On only works for the checkout page and not for the user profile edit page of WordPress.

    I looked through the WordPress user-edit.php file (used for profile updates) and it doesn’t have a hook to use to validate field input inside the edit profile page. You may need to write some custom code to achieve these checks and show a warning/error message if a user has ‘skipped’ any of these fields.

    A workaround would be to use a front-end profile editor plugin like Theme My Login or something similar that may have hooks available to ensure that you can run validation on updating profile information.
