    This works well for me but it doesn’t seem to matter if I tick the “consent” box in the popup or not. How can I make this a required field?

    Hey,

    One of the rules of GDPR is that access cannot be denied if a user doesn’t select an option. As the logic goes: if it’s forced, it might as well be just a message without tickboxes – and that’s exactly what GDPR is trying to prevent.

    So basically, if it’s forced/required, you don’t need to use this plugin.
