Required field

Thanks for using Caldera Forms. I opened an issue for this. I’m not 100% sure how it should work, beacuse star ratings could be zero, and they have default values. If you have feedback on how it should work, can you please comments on the issue:

Hi,
For me The star rating is from 1 to x (1 being the worst rating)
I would see a system like:
– If 0 then Required,
– If more than 0 then ok
– Finally, if the default value is set (and it is > 0) and the vote is changed, in all cases the value 0 can not be entered so there is no worry.

Experiencing a similar issue going on that could be related to this…

I have several customer survey forms and they are behaving odd, the star rating are all set to required yet some ignore this, whilst others prompt for the field to be completed.

One page of a form has 3 x star rating fields, if you try to advance (multi page form) its shows 2 must be completed and forgets the other and you can just complete the 2 and move on. All are set to required…

A related problem?

Any news on this my client is going mad, works differently every time you test the form, required fields on star ratings, work really adhoc.

One page has 3 star ratings on it, you can jump right past it even though they are all set to required. Next time you try 1 might come up as required. But never all 3 as they should be?

I don’t need your other add ons so its difficult to get proper support I am a bit lost how to approach you about this to get an answer….
