Required BTC amount not reached due to rounding

  • On a test checkout i encountered the following problem. The calculated BTC value was

    ?0.00171416

    QR code was scanned and amount transferred, accordingly. But obviously my client did some rounding, because on the blockchain I see only

    ?0.001714

    have arrived. This could happen for any customer, and in that case the order would wait infinitely for payment to complete. Has anyone encountered this problem before?

    I guess some tolerance range in the comparison for incoming payments could solve the problem. On the other hand – any client should send the money as requested. Maybe I should better ask the app developers?
