Require Proper Formatting on Registration Page

  • Hi,

    Is there a way to require proper formatting on the registration fields? For example, can I require the phone number field to be in this format: “123-123-1234”? or for a field to require exactly 4 digits? or an email address to be the proper format? Is there a way to have the form deny them if they don’t submit the correct information on a mandatory field?

    Hi SommerV,

    At the moment we only have this feature for the password length, which is found under Options > Basic. To have the plugin filter through other fields, it would require customization of the plugin.

    The reason for which it was not implemented in our plugin is that it would become very complex to sort out the number of characters and look through proper custom format, for each field. If you have an idea of how it would be both simple and efficient, please let us know.
