    Hello,

I’m having trouble getting the Require membership sidebar box to work.
I ticket it to hide the content of that page but it is still visible for non logged in users.
When using the shortcode [membership lever=”1″] I can hide content on that page but there is no massage and are no buttons as specified in the ‘Advanced Settings’
under ‘Message for Logged-in Non-members:’ and ‘Message for Logged-out Users:’.

I have switched to the default theme but have the same issue.

The PMP install is on a subsite of a multisite. It is only activated here. Not on the main site.

    Please help.

    Regards,
    Thom

  • Hi Thom,

Thank you for getting in touch with us! This sounds like you are experiencing a conflict of sorts. It could be that you are using a Page Builder that may be causing the conflict.

It is tough to know for sure without logging into your site, however, this is most likely the cause. Jason has written up a post on this with the code you need to add to your site to fix this (if this is the cause).

    Please see: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/filter-members-only-content-later-for-page-builders-and/

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks for your reply.

I think it has little to do with a page builder because like I mentioned: I have switched to the default theme but have the same issue.

I have tried pasting the code from the article in the pmpro-customizations.php and in the functions.php of the theme but nothing get’s the desired effect.

    Please help.

    Regards,
    Thom

Thanks for the feedback Thom, would you mind telling us which page builder you are using?

Could you please test this with a dummy page with just text that is created with and without your page builder?

    Thanks Andrew.

That’s it. That works so, it is the page builder after all.

I wonder what went wrong with pasting the code from the article in the pmpro-customizations.php
Why that didn’t work for me.

The code should be at the end of the code that’s there, right?

    Regards,
    Thom

Thanks for the feedback, the code Travis shared should fix it up for you. If you would like a support engineer to take a look into your site on a deeper level, please can you open a support thread on https://www.paidmembershipspro.com

Thanks but I’m not a paid member anymore. Have been for a year with another website.

    I did it! Yeah.

Strange, did the same thing, just trien again. Pasted the code at the end of the pmpro-customizations.php

    Thanks for your support.
