Require Login to View Page (Redirect to wp-admin)

  • What can I use to restrict access to a page. I would like something that when users click on the page in the menu (if they are not already logged in) they are redirected to the /wp-admin to login, then sent back to the page they were trying to view.

  • WordPress offers a basic version of this built in to its core. When editing a page, click “edit” next to visibility:public in the publish box (top right).

    Select “Password protected”, and you can add a password right there.
