Require Hidden Field Inputs before submit

    Hello,

    I am using the conditional field plugin to consolidate a large number of fields into a small pop-up box/modal window.

    To do this I have a categorized my [group]’s to display based on a corresponding radio button value. (i.e when Radio “Contact Info” is selected [group-contact] fields are displayed.)

    It is working excellent!

    The only slight problem I am having is that if a user accidentally (or intentionally) skips past the contact info section (all required fields) and fills out the other sections the form can still be submitted if those required fields are hidden when clicking the “submit button.

    A Multi-Step form will unfortunately not work because the client really loves their pop-up/modal “qet a quote” window and that plugin requires setting up multiple pages with unique URLs.

    Any ideas to make hidden fields required before validation? (I think most users would see this functionality as a bug lol)

    it worked like this before but the fact is that the majority of users got annoyed by getting error messages about hidden required fields. So if a field is hidden on submit it is no longer required. This is what around 90% of the users prefer in my experience. I am working on a pro version of the plugin, with some more advanced options and I will add this to my TODO list.
