When we installed on the staging site – everything worked well.

We have just installed on the live site – and (from the visitor’s side) it all looks fine. But Requests for Shipping Quotes are not coming through to ‘Shipping Quotes‘ in the Admin page.

    What could we have wrong/missed??

PS. I’ve tried in ‘TroubleShooting’ mode, with all plugins except woo & Shipping Quotes – same issue.

We’ve found the problem. Not only does the radio button need selecting, but also the text ‘Request a quote’ … and trial customers are not doing that. How can it be made more obvious?

e.g. Can you add the class “button”
    to ‘freight-shipping-quote-request-button’ ?

If the ‘Request’ Radio button is selected but ‘Request to Quote’ has not been clicked … can it be highlighted as an error if ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button is clicked?

the issue is still unresolved. There is not the ‘request to quote’ button displayed ! So .nothing to click. What coukd be missing from the setup? Astondb7.com/shop

I have used ‘troubleshooting’ mode and disabled all plugins except woo and your RequestForShippingQuote, also removed all Custom CSS and checked login.php. Still the same problem – the radio button appears, but not the text-link beneath it. What can be wrong?

I contacted woo support who identified the problem.
The live site was using the ‘Cart Block’, whereas the staging site is using the Cart-shortcode. We changed the live site to use a Cart-shortcode – and Freight Shipping Quote plugin started working correctly.

This is what woo support said: (I put it here in case anyone else comes across the same problem:

I’ve checked both sites and noticed you’ve used the cart shortcode on the tagging site. However, on the live site, you’re using the cart block on the cart page. This difference is causing the variation in style.

If you want the same style on your live site as on the staging site, here’s what you can do:

     – Navigate to Pages > All pages and open the Cart page.

     – Once it’s loaded, you have two options. You can switch to the classic cart block or remove the entire block and insert the cart shortcode ( https://woo.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/#cart ) instead. [woocommerce_cart]

I hope this helps! Please let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.
