• hello

i’ve searched for solutions on this, but my google-fu is useless for the moment.
what i’ve been searching for is for a way a user can, by radio buttons or check boxes, choose a number of categories and clicking submit renders a list of the posts matching the categories previously chosen by the user.

i’m sure someone has dwelt into this, by i’ve searched support through and could only find unresolved topics from a year ago.

so, can someone shed some light on this? is this strictly php-related and not really wordpress?

can anyone shed some light on this?

    thank you

Nothing like this is built in, so it would probably be a rather extensive modification to the system.

well, my php is very limited, but it’s like a query to the database, right?

True, but you’re also wanting to integrate it with the rest of the system as well as receiving user input about which cats to display. That’s not quite as minor as a simple query.
