Requesting Feature: E-mail notifications for Admin

    Hi anon58,

    I understand the request, but I want to challenge it. Are you sure you really want such functionality? For example, I have the plugin running on a site where there are hundreds of posts every day. That would generate hundreds of mails every day coming to my mailbox.

    Do you really think it would be benefitial to have such feature? Would you really use it in the end?

    My site is a gaming group forum, where the shoutbox is used for logged-in users to quickly note game activity. There are almost always less than 10 comments a day (though I can see how this wouldn’t be useful for someone using the shoutbox differently). I previously used the Schreikasten plugin as a shoutbox, which has this feature.
