Request/Enhancement: Show old events in archive

Hi Marcus,
on my Events List (the Events page) I want to show only future events and use this setting. Now I wanted to have an additional archive, where the old events could be found. I activated the WP archive setting and used a different slug as for the page. Both is active now – but the filtering is the same on both, I can’t use it differently.
Did I miss something – is there maybe a better way for an archive?
