Firstly I LOVE Wordfence, it’s kept my sites safe for a long time, and really helpful to weed out those trying to bot login (in fact someone actually got in via one of the Editor users, and WF letting me know mitigated any damage).

I was going through the email blocked user reports and wondering if there is an easier way that trying to collate all those in some form, because scanning through them it’s obvious there are patterns/repeat offenders, and some Russian ISPs who are completely hacked or actually bot farms. It would be great to have a list or table of the top blocked/locked IPs since X date – maybe by either full IP or first 3 numbers, to stop those who are skipping through an IP range?

It really would help with the permanent blocking – and also could be tied into an abuse report link, maybe? You could have a mailto link or a form link sending to the abuse@ fetched via WhoIs?

But really I’d just like to know that X.X.X.X has been coming back over the last few months repeatedly, or that I’m getting a lot of blocks from this IP range so I can block it if it seems to be not genuine?

If this is possible via a tool or currently then great – love to know how?

Thanks for the great feature suggestion, we’ll give this some thought and see if we can expose some data along the lines you’ve suggested.

    Regards,

    Mark.
