Request to add features – Text overflow

  • Hi

    I am using the “EnlighterJS” plugin and I want to provide an Idea

    I would like to be able to set “Text overflow” as well in items that set code language or line count display

    for example
    some code or some command is Match well with “Add Scrollbar”
    or
    some code or some command is Match well with “Break line”

    So, depending on the situation, i would like to choose the “Add scrollbar” and “Break line” settings each time

    i hope to add a “Text overflow” feature on front option

    Hi Hyunho,

    both “settings” are just adding some css to the page.
    you can easily create 2 custom themes and add the specific css rules to them.

    There is a reason for making the request.

    I am running a community site through wordpress+bbpress+buddypress+…

    It is an environment in which many people write posts
    So, i hope that the requested function will be added on the UI

    sry, i’ve currently no plan and no resources to add these settings to the editors UI (this also affects the Gutenberg Plugin).

    it requires a lot of changes within every EnlighterJS component (highlighter, editing plugins, wp plugin).

    maybe in the future if it will be requested by more users
