    Fantastic plugin ??

    So I know it’s possible to use your own theme fonts by setting the font-family to “inherit” on an element, however when you force the “inherit” font on an element, the elements will render with the wrong font on the website.

    Example:
    Theme font (body): Open Sans, sans-serif
    Theme font (H1): Aller, sans-serif;
    Depicter element (H1): inherit

    The H1 in the slide will become “Open Sans” and not the intended H1 font because of the “inherit” font-family value.

    Possible solutions:

    1) Don’t add font-family: inherit; to an element. Just don’t add any font-family value to the output if “inherit” is chosen.

    2) Make a new option “Theme default” which means no font-family value is added to the element.

    3) Create a plugin filter to add additional fonts to the list ??

    Sorry for the delay, but I wanted to check this with our Dev team and they were very busy developing new features. I share your ticket with them and it may take some time till I get a reply. I will let you know when I get a reply.

    Thanks for your suggestion and please do it again and again.

    Hope to see this being fixed some day ??

    Hello, we’re just following up on this.

    We need to match up the font with the website. Is there an update to using custom fonts on depicter?

    I have the same “problem” and would like to switch from Slider Revolution. But if I can’t adapt the fonts to the CI of the homepage, then switching wouldn’t make much sense.

    To clarify, I would like to use the locally uploaded fonts in Depicter. These are currently in the WP upload directory

    Thx for answer Tom
