• Just a quick one, if you’ll pardon the pun.

    In the ‘quick edit’ link from the back end (I know you shouldn’t really be in the back end, but for bulk changes, would be quicker) perhaps it might be an idea to follow the way that WP allows you to change categories – i.e. with checkboxes. At the moment, to update a state or milestone, you have to type it in.

    (Custom taxonomy?)

  • Since the custom taxonomy isn’t hierarchical, that is the way WordPress displays the edit. Think of states and milestones as tags. The front-end, and the dropdown list that are provided by the theme just make it so you can keep a consistent list of terms, as opposed to making sure you type out the same one each time.

    I guess if it’s a huge deal for you, you could make the state and milestone taxonomies hierarchical though. I don’t think anything else would really change.
