Request: order capability when multiple authors

    Hi again, Chris.

    I’ve detected another possible improvement for future updates: when a book has multiple authors the plugin does not allow for ordering them. But usually multiple authors must go in a specific order (this is common in scientific papers).

    If you could add this capability in future versions it would be great!

    This isn’t as simple as it sounds because there’s no inherent “ordering” for taxonomy terms (which is what’s used for authors) — at least not an order that can be manipulated easily (alphabetical by term/author, numeric by ID, etc, see https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/a/7866). It’s possible using the new term meta functionality that was recently added to WordPress core but it’s not likely something that’s going to be added to the plugin in the immediate future. I’ll add it to the roadmap, though.
