[Request] Most Popular Recent Tags

I’m looking for a plugin that will display the most popular recent tags. Or if not that, some sort of code I can use.

This plugin would allow me to set a duration (for example: most popular within the last 7 days) and amount of tags to display.

I realize there’s a plugin called Most Popular Recent Tags already, but it doesn’t work and hasn’t been updated in some time.
