[Request] Lightbox / Caption

  • Hi!
    Can you say if in the near future comes an update with lightbox support?
    And another request: would it be possible to show the caption under the picture?

  • FYI, I’m currently using the “Responsive Lightbox” by GrandWP and it works really well. Just make sure you set the link settings in Block Gallery to media file.

    I think having an option to select where to show the caption would be a better solution as some like to show it where it is, and others would like it below, above, within at the top, middle, or bottom (where it currently is). Just my thoughts.

    That is something I will build into the plugin, though I do not have a timeline just yet. And your suggestion about captions is very intersection @batracy — I like it! Are you thinking for all the blocks, or the Masonry block in particular?

    I was thinking for all blocks. I don’t know if that is possible, but I think having the options available would certainly be very attractive, even if this is just available in the pro version.

    That would be so great. I am starting a relaunch of my site… can you imagine when you update your plugin? I like it so much… but perhaps I have to search for an alternative…
