[Request] How to change pagination structure

  • Is anybody can help to change …/page/2/ pagination structure to …/page2/ or …/page-2/. The structure I’m trying to use is much more better for seo juice than the default one.

    I found some instruction here https://www.astahost.com/info.php/Tips-Modifying-Wordpress-Code_t15559.html but this does not work.

    I tried numerous modification of $pageregex, changed parameters in //allow URLs like <permalink>/2 for <permalink>/page/2 section of rewrite.php but nothing work. I’m sure the solution is somewhere here and related to wp rewrite but I can’t figure out how to do this.
