• I have some equipment that is automatically loading new weather photos to my web server via ftp every hour, and I would like to be able to display the new photos ( which are obviously changing every 60 mins ) on my website without having to go in and re-wicker the webpage(s) manually. I have searched quite a bit via Google and on the WordPress site for ideas or examples, but I haven’t found what I’m looking for just yet. Maybe I’m not using the right keywords in my searches. I’m hoping someone can help.

I did find the “Add to Server” plug in, and while that is helpful to pull ftp-ed files from a server folder to the media library, I need two other steps to make this complete: (1) have Add to Server run on its own every time it sees new files arriving in my designated server folder; and (2) automatically update the photos on the webpage(s) based on the new, designated arrivals into the Media Library.

There are probably many ways to do this. Any suggestions or links to prior solutions would be greatly appreciated. Being <obviously> new to WordPress and web design, I am pretty much at square one right now, with static pages and manual replacement of photos.

Thanks for your support with this matter.
