Request for Search widget

    When the search widget is used on my site, the results all appear as blog posts with the date and author, even if they are not blog posts, but pages. My request is to have a different format for the search widget so the results can show up as more of a list and not as a post. Is there something I can add to the “Theme options”, “custom CSS” field now? Thank you.
