Request for removal process

  • This plugin was working fine, but today has locked me out of 3 sites I installed it on.

    Could I have a process for completely removing iThemes Security from my sites in order to revert to the normal login at wp-admin please?

  • Hi,

    You can add the code below into the wp-config.php file anywhere as long as it is between the first line ( <?php ) and the line that says / That’s all, stop editing. Happy Blogging / to temporarily disable all features so you can log in.

    define(‘ITSEC_DISABLE_MODULES’, true);

    `
    Once you have logged in you can remove the plugin from the Plugins section.

    Thank you so much, that allowed me in with the original login and I was able to delete the plugin.
