request for leave button missing and balances is empty

    Hello!

    Firstly thank you for this lovely plugin, I have tried so many ways of doing the leave and HR section and this is by far the best.

    I have gone through all your settings over and over, I am sure it is me who has done something wrong, I just don’t know what.
    1. The request leave button is missing, from the front end it is just no longer there (it was there) and when I try do the leave for the team, I can’t select the team member so it is quite odd as both these features did work earlier today.
    2. On the front end the leave is empty in the Balances section. Below this the History shows all leave but it doesnt tally up the leave so I can’t see how much is left without counting it myself. This feature never worked and I can’t find where to set it to work.

    Your help will be much appreciated.

    Thank you for supporting WP-HR Manager.

    It sounds very odd behaviour. Buttons dissappearing etc. could be a theme or plugin clash issue? Have you tried turning off all your other plugins and then seeing if the issues resolve? If so, then switch them on again one at a time till the issue reappears and this will high light the cause. similarly, try switching to a standard wordpress theme and see if the issue goes away. If none of that works, I’ll suggest giving me a logon and I’ll take a look (contact us via the WpHR Support => Contact form in the plugin, don’t post any login information here!)

    Thank you for the super quick response.
    No it was totally my fault as expected! when I changed themes to check something else it cleared the Entitlements = removed the buttons!

    No problem. Delighted it’s resolved.
    The leave balances have been reported by another user so if you are still having an issue with those, let me know – but it’s being looked at.

    Hi there
    Thank you again for your swift help the I was being a little silly!
    I cleared the plugin entirely and started again with new knowledge and on the whole it is set up very much better.
    I am however still having the same issue of the leave not tallying up at the end. Interestingly one of the leave is while the rest are not. I dont know that I did anything differently and after checking it over and over (and looking through previous tickets) I have not been able to resolve it.

    Hi – we have just uploaded version 0.1.8.1 which fixes this issue.

    If your leave available column still shows incorrect, please check the office location has been assigned and linked to the leave policy and that the employee is also assigned to the same location.

    Hi there
    I am not sure why but some of my team has leave that adds up and others dont. I dont think I am doing anything differently? do you think you can point me in the right direction? I have been working with the plugin a while now so feel more comfortable with how it works.

    Try checking the office locations are correctly assigned to the individual (in their profile) and to the leave policy under which the leave has been booked. They need to be the same or leave won’t assign correctly.
