[Request for Feedback] Removing Flexible Fields Support

I noticed there is still no control for collapsing repeater fields inside a flexible content. Your plugin used to add the collapse button next to the repeater fields individually.

With ACF itself I can only collapse the flexible content as a whole and not individual repeater fields.

ACF just broke the entire plugin (again), so right now nothing works. You can assume the repeaters in Flex Fields will still be collapsible even if flexible field collapsing isn’t supported anymore.

It would be a pity. I don’t see how ACF integrayed it as nice as your plugin was. I can just collapse/expand one item per time in ACF, right? Your plugin was so much more convenient. Also to have a little preview what’s behind each collapsed item.
It would be awesome if you’d team up with Elliot to either integrate it or to maintain it as a plugin. Thanks for all you work.

Yup, I agree with AP_B1 – the ability to collapse / expand everything is great, and the 1 line preview makes such a huge difference.

I also would love to see the acf repeater collapser being integrated into the acf core, just like it is. I can’t even find the collapsing functionality that’s supposed to be inside ACF 5.3.1. Can anyone point me towards it?

I think he means the little arrow which are next to the delete buttons (a bit dangerous position anyways). But they just collapse/expand one part of the repeater, nothing close to the functionality that this plugin has.

Weird – I don’t have it. There is only the red ‘minus’ on the right side. Anyways, only being able to collapse one row at a time would drive me crazy anyway, so I’m definitely also hoping Elliot will consider copying your amazing functionality into the acf core ??
