    Hi

    Feature request:

    Insert a checkbox, in settings, in the products section, where you can enable or disable the options for ‘downloadable products’

    This option is good, because when I hand over the role to someone else to manage the orders, it is very useful that they only see what they need and nothing else. In these cases, I always have to “hide” these options through bad code.

    It would be great if woocommerce could hide all those options related to downloadable products.

    98% of the stores I’ve run never use this downloadable product feature.

    Hello,

    I understand what you are saying, nowadays there are more and more stores that are implementing downloadable products (subscriptions, books, catalogs, manuals, file transfers, etc).

    Regarding the roles, it is not necessary to hand over the role, you can create a new one depending on your needs. There are plugins for that task, e.g:
