Google has pretty generous API limits. I’d be surprised if you were hitting them just because of this plugin.

I’d recommend you take a look at some of the other plugins you’re running to see if any are making excessive calls to Google’s Geocoding API. Plugins should not be fetching lat/lon coordinates for an address on every page load. That’s why this plugin has you fetch and store the coordinates in the settings panel — so it doesn’t have to hit the API on every page load.
