• Hi, very nice plugin I’m just messing around with it and the interface and everything is very good, congrats.

But one thing about A/B Testing is that you want to show a visitor the same page every time they come to your site, or every time they refresh the page.

This is normally done with a Cookie. All you have to do is check if the user has the cookie for Version X of Experiment Y, before displaying a version at random.

Maybe I’m missing something, but this is definitely how it should work.

Do you know what I mean? I created a test on a page, and refreshed a couple of times, and I can see Version A sometimes and Version B other times.

Thank you, please let me know if you can implement this.

    Awesome plugin!

And also, how do I determine the goal for the experiment?

Under page > new page I can create A and B versions, but where do I tell the plugin what my goal is? (click a link, play a video, etc…)

Also other awesome features would be:
    – Integration with Google Analytics, sending variation data with events or custom variables
    – Basic segmentation: new users only, returning only, source, etc.

    Thank you!

Please let me know where If you are going to implement these, or where can I find info on this.

Thanks for the great feedback! The Google Analytics integration and segmentation are fantastic ideas.

We are currently coding a MAJOR upgrade to the plugin. It will include the ability to test calls-to-action, and pop-ups (modal overlays). Each will have more pre-fab templates. Other improvements include native cache-busting for WP SuperCache and W3 Total Cache, better cookie handling (just like your request), and lots of usability enhancements.

I think we should be ready to launch that new plugin within 2 weeks. Stay tuned.

Oh, and we are going to make an interim update today with some shortcodes that aren’t currently listed in the plugin. One of them is to track your conversions. This will allow you to effectively test and improve your CRO.
