• Hi, it would be nice if you could add a new status for (temporarily) deactivating an existing user, including corresponding email settings.

    Hello argosmedia,

I am not very sure it is a feature useful to enough users, I mean it might be too much specific. We have allowed to set the status in pending again, in case you want to deactive an user temporary. Still I know they are not exactly the same concept and it doesn’t send any email.

I’ll keep your suggestion in mind, but I cannot promise anything for now. Do you have an example when this feature can be useful?

Yes, it would be useful for the membersite I use your plugin on. Now I have to manually send an email to members who get restricted from access, for example because they haven’t paid their invoice for the new term yet.

In fact the statuses Pending and Denied are technically the same, right? They’re just different labels and emails. So a status like Deactivated just means another email and label. It would be even greater if you could set custom versions of the built-in statuses. That way you can add multiple versions of a “no-access” status yoirself, depending on the situation.

But maybe this sounds easier than it is ??
