Hi, i wonder if there’s a way to repost/renew expired advert or you have to type it again. I was looking for a way to do this on the manage adds menu, but it seems you can only modiffy the text, not renew it.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
the logged in users can renew their ads from a page with [adverts_manage] shortcode.

To do that you will first need to have a Renewal Pricing product configured in Payments Module or in WooCommerce Products (depending on what you are using to charge users for renewals).

Then on the [adverts_manage] user will be able to click “More” button next to the item he wants to renew and then the “Renew Ad” button.

Ok, thanks, I don’t use any module to charge for renewals.

Ohh ok, without the Payments Module or WooCommerce enabled your users will not be able to renew i am afraid.

If you need to have this feature, you can enable the Payments Module and make all the pricings free, then users will not need to pay but will still be able to renew their Ads.

Hey there, so I enabled the payment method, but still can’t renew expired ads. The more button is missing. I see it when I load the page for just a second and then it disappears.
My first thought was that theres is some kind of problem with the CSS, because I’ve striped some code there, but the other buttons like “view”, “edit” “delete”, are there, so I don’t believe that this could be the problem.
Do you have any idea, what I’m doing wrong?

This is not a CSS problem, the More button is supposed to disappear if there are no buttons to display after clicking More.

In other words, if there would be a “Renew” button to show, then the More button would not be hidden. Are you sure you have the renewal pricings configured properly? It looks like you do not, so the adext_payments_action_renew() function in wpadverts/addons/payments/payments.php does not display the “Renew Ad” button at all.

Where is that? I see only the option to choose the pay method and the default fee and I set it to bank transfer and free respectively. I don’t know where the renew price is. I’ll take another look there.

ok sorry, my bad. now I saw that you have to setup renewal price too. thanks!!!

So just to make sure: If I have all the advertisements listed without any fees (not using a payment module) and the advertisers don′t log in, there is no way to repost or extend the expired ad? Even as the admin? So the only solution is to copy the whole listing/post manually and run the ad again?

    Hi,
as an administrator you can edit the Ad from wp-admin / Classifieds panel and set the Expiration Date to some date in the future this will make the Ad active again.
