Repost: Cannot get options to save and work

    This is a repost, because I do not think I posted my original question with correct description.

    I just downloaded version 3.8 with WP 4.4 using Weaver II (not extreme) theme. I cannot get the capabilities to save regardless of where I enter them; ie. Frontier frontend or WP User Role Editor.

    The plugin is what I was looking for and it seems to have good reviews. I hope I can get this fixed.

    If you are using USR to manage your capabilities, you need to check “Manage capabilities externally” in advanced settings.

    In USR you need to make sure that the roles (users) have the neccessary Frontier Post capabilities AND the neccessary wordpress capabilities eg, edit_posts, upload_files etc.
